Delivery information at ActiveMariner.com

Garmin BlueChart orders are despatched at 3.00pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We need to receive your BlueChart order on those days by 1.00pm. When possible we may despatch orders received after that time. No BlueChart orders are despatched after 3.00pm and no orders are despatched on Saturday or Sunday.

UK Delivery options and costs:

United Kingdom - UK Free Standard delivery (typically 1-3 working days) at our option we may choose to use Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded, Special Delivery or another courier.

United Kingdom - UK £9.99 Guaranteed Next Working Day Delivery - Please note: ALL orders must be received prior to 1pm Monday to Friday to be dispatched the same working day for the next. Orders placed after 1pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched the following working day.

Delivery FAQ's

When do you send goods for delivery?

We send customer purchases Monday to Friday (with the exception of public bank holidays). We aim to dispatch all orders (subject to availability) placed before 3pm on any given working day, the same day.

How much does delivery cost?

For UK orders there is no delivery charge - unless you want a guaranteed next day or Saturday delivery.

Can I have next day delivery?

If you want a guaranteed next day delivery, guaranteed Saturday delivery or guaranteed before 9.00am delivery please contact us for additional delivery charge options. Alternatively please order from our sister website www.ActiveGPS.co.uk where a wide variety of premium services are available.

Which countries do you delivery to?

Free delivery is for delivery in the UK (United Kingdom) only. If you wish to purchase outside of the UK we offer European and United States delivery too. The prices are £14.99 for delivery in Europe and £29.99 for delivery in the United States.

Do I need to sign for my delivery?

Yes, all deliveries in the UK require a signature upon receipt of the goods.

UK Delivery important information

Please note: For UK next working day delivery, Garmin BlueChart map orders must be received before 1.00pm Monday to Friday. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on Monday, unless Monday is a public holiday in England and Wales.

DPD Courier/Royal Mail Special/Recorded Delivery

Your purchased item(s) will be received during working hours if sent to a business. Home deliveries may be attempted early in the morning e.g. 0645. In the event that no one is available to sign for the order, your goods will then be held at your local collection office. If you do not collect a Recorded Delivery item it will be returned to us after one week. If you do not collect a Special Delivery item it will be retained at your local delivery office for 15 working days. If you subsequently cancel your order we will not refund any money until we receive the item. It is in your interests to contact Royal Mail to advise them that you do not want a Special Delivery item. They will not act upon our instructions.

Goods not signed for will be then held at your local Royal Mail collection office - at the time of the unsuccessful delivery of your order, Royal Mail will leave a card providing collection details. Goods will be held for a disclosed length of time. After this time your purchase will then be returned to ActiveGPS.co.uk. We retain records of all purchases and returns. All orders are individually weighed before dispatch. Royal Mail will not consider a Recorded Delivery item is lost until 15 working days have elapsed. We must submit a claim and when We have received a refund from Royal Mail we will refund You. In any instance of loss You agree to co-operate with Royal Mail if they contact You. If we dispatch your order to the address given by you when ordering and your order is returned as undelivered and you subsequently cancel your order we will not refund the delivery charge.

Europe and Worldwide Delivery important information

‣Deliveries to Europe, including Republic of Ireland, usually take 3-5 days.
‣Deliveries to Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Middle East, Canada and USA usually take 5-10 days.

Once a package has left the United Kingdom neither we nor Royal Mail have any control over the delivery service of your country. Royal Mail will not consider an overseas item as lost until 25 days have elapsed.

Please note: - other than BFPO locations please do NOT choose UK delivery options for delivery to any address outside the UK (United Kingdom).

We dispatch to Europe (this also includes the Republic of Ireland) at £19.99* using Royal Mail International Signed For Priority Handling Insured Airmail service. Unfortunately Royal Mail cannot deliver to the Irish Republic using any internal UK services such as Recorded or Special Delivery. Delivery time is usually 3-5 days.

We dispatch to Canada, USA,  South America, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Deliveries to any of these countries attracts a standard charge of £19.99*. We use Royal Mail International Signed For Priority Handling Insured Airmail service. Delivery time is usually 5-10 days. If you order a single lightweight item (such as mapping software) we may be able to reduce this charge. Please contact us but bear in mind this may delay your order as we will need to weigh and measure the item to assess charges. If we dispatch your order to the address given by you when ordering and your order is returned as undelivered and you subsequently cancel your order we will not refund the delivery charge. Royal Mail will not consider an overseas delivery as being lost until 25 days have elapsed since dispatch.

*Please note that the maximum permissible weight for Royal Mail International Signed For Priority Handling Insured Airmail service is 2Kg. It is very rare for an order to exceed this weight, even with multiple items. However, there are a few products that do weigh more than 2Kg and we have highlighted these on the relevant webpages. We reserve the right to request an additional payment if your order exceeds 2Kg.

Customs Charges

We cannot be held responsible for any customs charges levied when goods enter your country. Your goods are insured against loss or damage and we must therefore enter the correct value on the customs declaration.
